Rare Find! 1858 Springfield Ma Pioneer Baseball Club Token. This piece was made by John Bolen. I believe this piece is copper but I have seen others listed as white metal that look similar so use your own knowledge as I I am not an expert by any means. I have red online that Only 75 pieces in copper were said to have been struck, with far less known to exist today. Measures approx 32mm.
This token is important for many reasons, but mostly for it being the first time a baseball play...er has been depicted on a coin or medal.
