582 - 602 AD VF Maurice Tiberius Roman Byzantine Empire Gold Solidus
ANACS certified solidus, in a very rare photo authenticity certificate issued for only a few weeks in 1987. Any coins certified in this manner are collectible in and of themselves. Paste this link into another tab and see information on these rare ANACS certification cards:

This is for the SINGLE coin as shown on th...is rare rare ANACS photo certification card, NOT THREE coins. The two photo images to the left and right are for each side of the gold coin in the plastic flip card in the center which is affixed with two staples to the card. Though the two ANACS images of this coin front and back on the card are good, with excellent side lighting to show and contrast the details, I took two high definition photos of this coin front and back to show it better.
The coin is sealed in it's flip card as it was certified by ANACS in 1987.
This Maurice Tiberius Byzantine solidus is graded as a VF and shows damage (tooth marks?) but the details and lettering are clear. Nevertheless, this is a honest example of a "used" in circulation gold coin.
Maurice Tiberius issued gold solidus coins are very desirable, and those of higher grade often go for $600 to $1, 000. So I list this one in a very rare ANACS 1987 photo authenticity certificate at a starting bid of $295.
Buyer satisfaction assured, I stand by all that I offer.
Please take note:
On this coin I will send USPS Priority Mail and insured. Please ask for invoice before payment so as to allow for correct shipping and insurance costs.
