Hello thank you for visiting my auction. I have for your consideration a George Washington Born February 22, 1732 WAR OF 1861 Medal Token Coin. It measures approx. a bit under 1 1/4" in diameter and weighs 14.0 grams. On the front it is marked: GEORGE WASHINGTON BORN FEBRUARY 22, 1732 and on the back it is marked: D. N HOUGHTON CO. (CO OR OO? not sure and the hole is between the N and the H so not sure if there was a letter there as well, or not?) DAVENPT CENTER DEL CO. I <X> 144... N.Y. WAR OF 1861 VOL. It is in vintage condition with a wonderful patina to it, and wear from age and use and also has a hole through it. Please see photos for that special eye detail.Thank you for looking.
