Pair of vintage barkcloth curtain panels, circa 1940s. The barkcloth is a vat print by 'Saison Happily Married Fabrics'. Pretty floral pattern in pink, green, white and bordeaux / burgundy on a very pale gray. Unlined.
Decent vintage condition. There is some general fading and some faint yellowing in spots - mostly along the bottom near the hems and a bit along the edges. There is some wear and fading along the edges. I have tried to show in the photos, though the yellowing is ...subtle and difficult for the camera to capture. I did not find any holes or rips. There is no dry rot or mildew odors.
Each panel measures approximately 83" long by 46" wide with 2.25" rod pockets. Hanging hardware is not included.
