This is a very complete HP 38C that came out in 1979 and cost $150. It's a programmable calc and works fine including passing the built in self test (press STO and then Enter. All segments light to indicate the test was passed.)
This includes the box, power supply, batter pack, case, calc and all the literature you see. I doubt you'll find a better one. The battery pack won't charge, of course, but can be rebuilt with new AA cells. For now, the calc run...s on two normal AA batteries with a bit of aluminum foil to connect one end of each.
You'll have to look hard to find a better one!
