This is a phenomenal large-sized early turn of the century art nouveau era bronze spelter metal banister or newel post style parlor lamp featuring a lightly aged original Bronze finish on a spelter metal body. The semi nude statue features an outstanding art n...ouveau style and is signed on the base by Augustus Moreau. The original faux painted wooden base is still intact with a solid fracture repair of minimal concern. There is also a matching brass tag on the base. This old beauty is guaranteed to be 100 plus years old and features updated wiring that is functional but should always be looked over by a professional before use. The newer spawn art glass shade is in excellent condition and ready for display. Overall a phenomenal 100 + year old figural newel post style lamp that is begging for a new life.
