It isstamped "Sterling" and was made by Simons Bros. of Philadelphia.American silver bodkin sets usually contained 3 or 4 matching bodkinsand I'm wondering if this was the 4th in Simons' well known fish bodkinset. Theconditionis excellent with no dings, bends or other dama...ge. It measures 33/8" long and has been engraved "Peggy". Ithas a slitto hold ribbon and an eye to hold elastic so they could be pulledthrough casings oreyelets.
