Two sterling silver strawberry forks with strawberries, leaves and flowers in low relief on the handle faces, and hand engraved on the back of the handle "1869 W.K. K.C.K. 1894". The pair weighs .67 troy oz. and the forks measure 4 3/4 inches long and 3/8 inch across the tines. Marked on the back of the handle with Durgin's trademark "D" and "Sterling". There are very fine shallow surface scratches on the handle, otherwise in quite good antique condition. A plea...sing antique present for a historically minded couple on a 25th anniversary, especially if strawberries are to their taste.
