This Vintage Servel Salesman Sample Refrigerator is in excellent condition for its age with a bit of staining and wear. The refrigerator is made of thick, high quality plastic. It has a removeable door. It comes with 12 laminated cards showing samples of various ways that the refrigerator could be organized. The cards are stored in a slot in the back of the refrigerator. Each card has a tab on top to pull out and slide into the front of the refrigerator fo...r demonstration. The back of the refrigerator reveals the working parts inside. The refrigerator has a heat activated glass tube containing a liquid for demonstrating how a gas refrigerator works. Also, in the back is a pack of 10 Servel matches which the salesman would have used to heat up the liquid inside the glass tube. The metal under the tube is dark so it looks like it has been demonstrated at one time. The refrigerator stands approximately 7-3/4" tall by 4" wide by 2" deep.
