This fabulous, iconic, "Ericsson" "No.16" skeleton telephone is in "as found" condition.The telephone has retained much of its' original black paint although it does have the scuffs, scratches and use marks you would expect from a well used item of this age.There are no cracks or splits to the cast metal or brass body or cradle that I can find.The hand set is missing its' switch lever and the mouth piece is loose, it is missing its' top mount. The hard rubber mouth piece has some dama...ge to the rim.The hand crank handle is loose and its' large cog doesn't engage fully with the smaller one. There may be two missing screws to the top.The cabling appears to be original.The white letters and numbers are still clear and legible.The rubber feet are well attached and the phone still stands well.It stands 29 cm (11 1/2 inches) high.
