RARE Vintage Wood Surveyor Tripod Antique Surveying Transit Level Lamp Base 55”. Condition is Used. Here is a very old 55” Transit Tripod made of oak, it looks great with lots of patina! It would make a great lamp base or add a transit or spotting scope. There is no chain or leather leg straps, it still has pointed feet. This old tripod would make a great vintage Christmas Tree base, just add lights, for a cool Studio tree. There is a crack in one of the legs that is an old repair..., it's sturdy and not too noticeable. See pics.
