Presented is very rare sterling silver cake basket, made by Shreve & Company of San Francisco, California. What makes this piece rare and unique is the Arts & Crafts hand hammered design all over the borders and handle. Basket is properly hallmarked underneath. In used but good condition, one small ding in the interior. Clean, usable and presentable! Nice engraved initial of the letter C on the handle. We listed it without polishing or cleaning it, as it came fresh out of ...a private estate. Overall very clean, needs light polishing. Basket is 12 7/8" wide x 6" tall. Weighs 628 grams.
