1923 COMPLETE SET OF DOLLY'S DAY BY DAY CUT-OUTSThis is ANOTHER UNUSUAL & RARE FIND among my late sister's paper doll collection. What is truly amazing is that this set is COMPLETE AND UNCUT!!! The set includes the original advertising booklet and then a card for EACH DAY OF THE WEEK from Sunday to Saturday AND an extra BIRTHDAY CARD. I see that each card is supposed to also have a little Handkerchief too but all of the Hankies are missing in t...he set but the set does come with the Paper Dolls and all of their clothes too. Remember the sayings for the days of the week and what chores are supposed to be done on each specific day, well that is what this set revolves around. On Sunday the doll will include her clothes to wear to Church. Monday's Doll is doing the washing and hanging out the clothes to dry. On Tuesday the doll is setup to do the Ironing for the day including an iron and ironing board. On Wednesday the Doll is set to do her Mending so she has her Sewing Basket and Sock Darner. On Thursday the Doll goes Visiting and takes along a bouquet of Flowers and some Cake. On Friday the Doll is all set to do the Cleaning with her Vacuum and her Mop. The Saturday Doll is all prepared to do some BAKING and includes some of the needed ingredients and cooking utensils along with an Apron. The last doll is ready to celebrate her Birthday complete with Cake. My sister had taken the time to neatly display this entire grouping and put them all in a folder so each and every day of the week is protected behind the plastic sleeve but can easily be looked at by going through the pages of the folder. Each opened card measure 10 by 7 inches in size. The paper dolls are 6 1/2 inches tall. A GREAT SET!!!!
