This is an original “MATCHBOX” MODELS OF YESTERYEAR Pre-Production Y-13 Crossley RAF Tender with trial black plastic roofs and grille, different from the charcoal grey canopies as is found on the Giftware model. We have included comparison photos with the Giftware model with Charcoal Grey roofs with the model on auction with the black roofs with the models on either side of one another and also with and without flash. The auction is for the blue-grey model with black roofs and gril...le with box only. The model is in mint condition. The box is complete with slight wear. The cellophane is intact. This was made in England by Lesney in the 1970’s.
