Rare Antique 1870s P&R RAILWAY POLICE BADGE Philadelphia & Reading RR Railroad This auction is for a very scarce, antique RAILWAY POLICE badge from the Philadelphia & Reading Railroad. The oval badge has dimensions 1 ⅜” x 2 ¼” is engraved PHILAD & READING R.R. RAILWAY POLICE STATE OF PENNA with traces of black enamel in the lettering. The nickel badge probably dates to the 1870’s and was recently discovered in an estate. The badge is being sold AS IS due to the following d...amage: 1) The pin on the back is broken off but the hinge & clasp remain
