LIONEL PREWAR VERY NICE ORIGINAL 260E 241 BLUE 710 712 PASSENGER SET OBs GNICHOL
This 241 blue passenger set is in very nice original condition. It includes a 260E, 260T, 710 Pullman, 710 Pullman and 712 Observation car. Each item’s original box is included. The 712 is missing an end flap as shown. Some inner flaps are loose or missing. The original paper for the tender is included and the insert is in the 260E box (not shown sorry but is there). I have done no more than bru...sh off dust so it may clean better than shown. I didn’t take the chance of harming any paint. The roofs of the passenger cars are a very nice consistent blue. One 710 has 2 small marks (see photos). One journal on one car has some oxidation as shown. The couplers have what appear to be surface rust. Again, I did no more than dust this with a brush. The tender does have one corner bend. This is shown in the photos. Everything is shown in the photos so please take your time and enlarge each photo to see the overall condition. I don’t see any issues with the 260E. This is simply a beautiful all original set that was taken very good care of.
