A RARE LIMITED EDITION SOUVENIR BOX SET DEDICATED BY THE OMEGA WATCH COMPANY TO ITS FRIENDS IN COMMEMORATION OF THE MOST SENSATIONAL EXPLOIT OF ALL TIME...... WHEN OMEGA BECAME THE FIRST WATCH WORN ON THE MOON IN 1969.
This box set comprises large, glossy photographs (49cm x39cm) of various space missions, astronauts, earth & moon etc. up until 1969 including Apollo VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, Gemini IV, Gemini XII as well as a photo of the three astronauts from Apollo XI (Neil A...rmstrong, Michael Collins and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin).
Also included is four pages of historical information on the missions and pre-printed signatures by the Apollo XI crew.
The photos would make an excellent series of framed images or an incredible gift on their own. This is a rare piece of memorabilia that celebrates one of humankind's most magnificent technical achievements. Fifty years on, it is no less remarkable.This is an opportunity to purchase a piece of history. July 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.

GLOSSY MOON CRATER BOX IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. HAS BEEN KEPT IN ORIGINAL CARDBOARD BOX. SLIGHT AGED PATINA SPOTS INSIDE THE BOX.
THE SIGNATURES OF THE APOLLO CREW ARE PRE-PRINTED IN THE PAPER AND ARE NOT REAL.
21 PHOTOS ARE GLOSSY & IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. Some photo paper discolouration ie: yellowing around some photos on the white borders.
(Please note there is a duplicate photo in the lot. There were originally only 20 photos in the pack)
PATINA LIGHT BROWNING SPOTS ON THE BACK OF ONE PHOTO & INFO PORTFOLIO. SMALL AMOUNT OF CREASING ON THE CORNER OF ONE PHOTO.
