Professional Marionette Opera Singer Puppet By Fratello Marionettes
Item History & Price
Reference Number: Avaluer:8594466 |
This professional marionette was created in 1998 by Kevin Menegus of The Fratello Marionettes. The puppet stands approx. 33" tall and features an animated mouth to sing his aria. He is also rigged to remove his handkerchief from his tuxedo pocket and blot his brow. At the finale of the aria he is able to hold a very long high note when his long neck rises from his upper torso, followed by his toupee hair ...rising revealing his bald head, and finally his pants fall down showing his red heart underwear and sock garters.
This marionette has fully jointed carved wooden legs and arms, patent leather shoes and a fully satin lined tuxedo. His head and torso are made from celastic and plastic resin covered in fleece. He was still performing up until the day he was replaced this year. He does have minor wear and tear from hundreds of performances over the years, but is in good working order and ready to join your next marionette show!
