Here we have a extremely rare Spitfire German fire lighting/sparking/ metal gun/pistol. I can't find record of another one of these anywhere online or in print. I've been collecting tin items for many decades and it's rare to find something that you've never seen before! When the front hammer is cocked and the trigger is pulled it goes click, I'd imagine that a flint would be fed in the front and that the front mechanism should spark. I had previously thought that this was a toy but a ...very knowledgeable guy got in touch and told me what it is! Approximately 5.5" long. Some marks/surface patina, but in good overall condition.
