I bought this cassette brand new from Tempo Music in Los Angeles (long gone) in early 1995. It has been in my possession ever since. It has only been listened to a few times. It is in fantastic shape. The cassette itself is guaranteed to play perfectly. John recorded the album on tape, and this is the best way to listen to this mas...terpiece. You'll see in the photos that the final two panels are separated from the rest of the insert sleeve. When I bought this brand new, that double-panel was ALREADY hanging by a thread, and it came off almost immediately after opening the case for the first time. It's just how it was manufactured. If you look around the internet at copies of this that have been sold in the past, you will see this is common. But the insert sleeve is in really great shape - very crisp and nice. Check out the profile shot of me holding the sleeve and look at the edges - very clean. The cassette also features two extra tracks that were not included on the CD version - "Ants" on Side 1, and what has become known as "Untitled 0" at the beginning of Side Two. Another cool thing about this is that this is really how John envisioned the album (minus the River Phoenix tracks that wouldn't see the light of day until Smile From the Streets You Hold). All of the untitled songs on Side 2 make up "Usually Just a T-Shirt" - which John envisioned as one complete piece (he even had it transcribed for an orchestra, but couldn't find one crazy enough to perform it).
