XGA MOD 1024 x 768 RARE -- Uses hard to find LG Display data cable and snow iBook LCD -- Professionally installed!Original screen resolution only 800 x 600, this mod makes the iBook much more usable.Personally, I've taken apart and sold 300+ iBooks and have only come across this cable four times, again it's very rare.

This iBook Clamshell is in great condition.
Up for auction is an Apple iBook ...G3 Clamshell (Key Lime / Green) running at 466MHz. The maximum 576MB of RAM is installed. The unit has an original 10GB HDD and AirPort wireless networking. Working DVD-ROM Drive. Optical drive bezel present (most of these computers are missing the bezel). The battery does take a small charge, see the final battery status photo; battery not guaranteed. The unit has 10.4.11 installed with all of the latest updates. iLife and Office '08 are included. Power adapter NOT included. The system is in overall good condition, Apple logo is complete, but is from a Graphite / Grey. The rubber looks great in this unique color!
THINGS OF NOTE ABOUT THIS PARTICULAR ITEM- The bottom rubber is slightly faded, as is the top part. The rubber is also coming off of the casing on certain parts of the back. It can be reattached.- As mentioned earlier, the Grey Apple logo is not original.- The XGA screen has different mounting points from the original so it is slightly off in the casing. Can be adjusted if you take off the front bezel.- Cracking has occurred on the handle at the top of the unit. It's only cosmetic and it functions perfectly.- When booting, the system takes time to initialize and does not display properly until OS loads (normal for this mod).
NOTE: Since this is an older computer, I cannot guarantee the condition of every component of the system.Here's what I've tested: FireWire Port, USB 1.1 port, DVD-ROM drive, charging port, keyboard, power and reset buttons, speaker.
These items are UNTESTED: Modem port, Ethernet port, sound and video out port.

** Since this battery is almost 20 years old, it can fail at any time. As mentioned above, the battery is not guaranteed and only takes a small charge.
