EXTREMELY RARE Beautiful Red SONY TR-69 Transistor Radio Japan - Works Great!
This is an extremely rare and great looking Japanese transistor radio from SONY. It is one of their earliest models and as far as I can tell was never sold in the USA. The reverse painted dial area is very similar to that used on the Sony TR-52 prototype. The all original circuitry utilizes oval cased SONY transistors and a glass diode. The cabinet is a bright red color. This radio has a very tiny hairline... in one corner and a chip on the inside lip of the rear cover (see pics). However the rear cover still stays on pretty good. Comes with original leather case which is in great condition. Tested and plays loud and clear.
