RARE Vintage Atari CAT Box – Computer Assisted Troubleshooter

The Atari CAT Box is used to troubleshootand repair older Atari game boards.When unit is powered-up, it displays allzeros in ADDRESS and DATA displays (refer to photo). If self-test is switchedon, displays shows all eights and decimal points light (refer to photo). If DATASET pushbutton is pushed, displays go blank. If DATA SET is pushed again, awalking eight’s pattern is displayed along with 2 LED’s (COMPARE ERROR andUNSTABLE SIGNATURE). If DATA SET is pressed again, individual se...gments of the displaysare lit in sequence (refer to photo). If DATA SET pressed again, all sevens aredisplayed. Flipping certain switches (some, not all) at this point, will cause thedisplays to alternate between sevens and E’s (refer to photo). Test leads are included, but there is no usermanual. Unit is assumed to be fully functional but I am not familiar enough withit to say with 100% certainty, so bid accordingly.
