Bausch & Lomb Criterian 8000 with tripod. Condition is Used. These 8000's were the decendents of the Dynamax series. Telescope is about a 1984-6 vintage which happens to be a barn find. Obtained from owner who inherited it from her father and hasn't been used for upwards of 30 years. Stored nicely as optics are very clear and bright. Had it out a few nights ago and collimated it, shows surprising nice feautures on Jupiter and Saturn despite... it being a 2/5 poor viewing night. This is the last of the American Made systems and uses a clock drive to compensate for earth rotation. Tripod has nice original wedge and original tripod which is light weight as well as very secure. This is for the old school crowd who want a sturdy system without all the electronic bells and whistles. System will last many years to come if maintained. Will never be worth less, so take a bit out of savings and enjoy your investment. One original eyepiece comes with system. Will split up. Scope: $350.
