Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Reed & Barton jewerly or powder box. The lid has a beautiful owl motif. The inside of the round 3.5" box is lined in green velvet. The glue on the top half is starting to come loose a little but should glue should fix it up. The underside is marked Reed & Barton 564. The bottom also still has the factory sticker on it. The owner did lightly engrave her initials as SSN on the bottom as well. The box is heaavy for its size, weighing just o...ver 1 lb. I believe it is silver plated but I do not know for sure. A beautiful old box with a very unique owl on display.
