VINTAGE 30MM ASTRONOMY FINDERSCOPE W/ODD CAMERA MOUNT BRACKET - UNITRON? TOWA?

Unbranded vintage 30mm finderscope of unknown magnification (though likely 6x) in unusual bracket that has a 1/4-20 camera mount bracket cast into it. Bracket also has a hole cast into it, likely for a Sun projection setup. Small diameter curvature of the base suggests it was likely held to the focuser body, not the scope main body. Cosmetically excellent, optically not so much as the objective group shows separation. That being said it doesn't seem to affect the views much. ...No crosshairs and it doesn't look like it ever did.
We started a post in CloudyNights to see if anyone knew who made this and what scopes it was designed for but no one had concrete answers with supporting documentation. Anyone know?
