This is a late 1950s/ early 1960s portable record box, designed for 7" singles or EPs.This comes from the non-smoking estate of its original and only owner (b.1945) who has kept this in pristine condition. Marks that can be seen to the side are because this was cleaned with a wet cloth prior to photography and there are no marks in reality.Interior condition very good. Two silver-tone metal catches show that this piece was made by the luggage manufacturer Cheney, so made to a much high...er grade than is usual for this kind of piece. Box construct clad in maroon Morocco, styled with comfort handle. Graded ACan probably store 35-40 singles
