Karel Kozeluh was the #1 Ranked Tennis payer in 1930, so this racket surely dates to that decade. He is a hall of famer and is famous for being a multi-sport athlete. He was both a National Team soccer and Hockey player.
Except for the broken strings, this AG Spalding racket is in terrific condition. There are very few scratches, the graphics are crisp and clear and the racket is straight having been stored in what looks to be it's original Spalding press. Ev...en the original piping is in place as is the butt-cap logo. The beam of the racket is rounded.
This is a great hard to find signature racket of an icon of the sport..
