ASC Aoshin Batmobile JAPANESE TOY 1966 Tin friction toy car.See photos and ask questions prior to bidding. Sold ASISBelow is from a article on this piece, I am no expert but I know this is a rare piece. Missing windshield, has dings, faded paint, it was obviously opened up at some point. I'm leaving it as found, not all tabs are secured and you will probably want to open it up to lock front axle, it's loose but o can see it just needs to be locked in place. Both rea...r hubcaps are missing. Also looks like glue may have been used in crevasses of the ears, "Another tin batmobile from Japan made in about 1966, this one is from Aoshin. It appears the company took a racecar and plunked Batman in it. Except for the BatMobile logos, and perhaps the big batwings in the back, you would not know this was a batmobile. In fact, with the swooping hood, light blue color, and single windshield, it doesn't look anything like the familiar black and straight lined batmobile shown on the box cover. Fourteen inches long and moves with friction action, back in the 1960s in Japan having realistic advertising on box covers was apparently unnecessary. Regardless, or perhaps due to, this collectible is now worth thousands."
