Click images to enlarge Description This is a used Chinon FZ-357 internal floppy drive with a medium gray bezel. It has been fully tested with no errors. The floppy disk used for testing is included as a head protector.
The drive has been run through a series of tests using CheckIt (a leading hardware diagnostic program) and SpinRite (a well-known media test program), and has passed all tests without errors. The test output is included in the pictures.
This is an old drive (purchased 6/22/1992 for $48(!)) and is the style with the internal parts mounted on an aluminum casting rather than sheet metal. I think the old ones were better.
This is a proven-good drive. It may be a bit more expensive than some, but isn't it worth a few bucks to not have to deal with problems down the road?
