1.06m BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE 19th CENTURY SILK BROCADE, SPITALFIELDS, LYON 47 ... Click images to enlarge Description A very beautiful long, narrow piece of antique French medium weight silk brocade, very high quality silk and in very good condition, it is much more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The design is a typical mid 18th century one with trailing flowers and lace patterns, however, I think it is more likely a 19th century revival silk, but I'm not sure, all i know is that it is in good condition, some minor wear and a bit of rubbing here and there and a bit of damage to one end, see photos, nothing serious, lovely strong, useable silk, perfect for projects or a collection of silk.
