Up for bid is a 1919 Shepard Electric Train & Hoist Company Stock Certificate Issuance Log Book that was used to store $1, 000, 000 capital stock certificates from 03/28/1919 to 02/01/1920. 
Certificate sheets from 701 to 716 are executed issuances while pages 717 to 800 are blank. The last entry of page 717 has "cancelled" written over the filled out certificate.
The 100 year old cover has it's leather flaking and is worn at the corners (see photos.) The inside paperboa...rd and certificate sheets are in very good condition given their age.

I had a hard time finding and conclusive history for the Shepard Electric Train & Hoist Company other than it was operating out of Montour Falls, NY and issued 1 million dollar stock certificates for 750K Common and 250K preferred.
