Up for bid is a Vintage VARMINT LINEAR Base Amplifier Model XL-250 in very good condition ! This was purchased at a recent estate auction where everything was in great condition & most had original boxes , this was one of the items that didn't but I don't see any damage or major wear . I plugged it in & the fan does work but the light did not come on , not sure if this is normal of if something else has to be plugged in . All 3 of the visible tubes do light up when turned on bu...t they are not all the same brightness . It is being sold as a parts item because I have no idea if it works properly or not . If anyone has any information about it to pass along , feel free to let me know . This is a must have for the CB base station enthusiast !! I am listing this item at a $275 buy it now price with free shipping (it weighs a lot) . Please look at all of the pictures carefully for a better description & ask any questions before bidding .
