Estate Find-I purchased a boxed lot of Seasonal decor-this is one listing of several to come.BEISTLE Halloween PumpkinLanternCardboard Tissue Vintage Antique c1930's One Face to the Iconic 1930-31 Beistle Lantern
Beistle made this singular lantern only for the 1930 and 1931 seasons. The stunning and much sought-after lantern represents the high-water mark of Beistle artistry in its sophistication and imaginative rendering. ...They never used this identical artwork in any other way, which is odd considering how resourceful that firm was in smartly using and reusing their designs. The lantern seldom surfaces in complete condition – and when it does it routinely brings very strong dollars. This item is one face of this very desirable lantern. The colors are quite bright and strong. The face measures ~11” high by ~12” across. This exerp was taken from an auction that completed in 2015.It Has old repair to bottom of lantern with tape and heavy brown paper. It Has a few edges that are worn and couple of nicks, missing paper see pics for details. For its age it is in decent condition. some minor surface paper loss at several points along and/or near the border plus other minor wear captured in the photos. Please see pictures for details.

On May-08-19 at 10:00:55 PDT, seller added the following information:Item is 2 sided identical pattern on both sides. I have one more exactly the same, and several additional various decades true vintage die cut decor pieces, Beistle, Peck, Merri-Lei, etc. Some are new but not in the original packaging.I try to offer as many pics to show any and all damage, flaws, or any other wear to item.
