Vintage 1925 Clipper Belt Lacer No. 0 Serial No. 310599
You are bidding on a vintage Clipper No. 0 belt lacer made by The Clipper Belt Lacer Co., Grand Rapids, Michigan. The lacer is in good working condition for its age and is a vise-held type that splices belts up to 4 inches. It has the original keeper pin for securing the fasteners/laces in the device and scissors for cutting the paper that holds the metal fasteners. The company's great trademark is well preserve...d on the bottom of the device. The patent date of Aug. 25, 1925 is worn where the 1925 is barely readable, however the Serial No.310599 can be easily seen (please see photos). This device was purchased from an estate along with some No. 3 belt hooks which will be auctioned separately. Please check the photos carefully - THEY ARE YOUR BEST DESCRIPTION.
