****ATTENTION FIENDS/MISFITS COLLECTORS/COMPLETISTS****
You know what this is... one of the highly sought after WHITE vinyl pressing. But, PLEASE READ ON about condition.
The WHITE VINYL has surface scratches/marks & a pretty pronounced warp. When I played on my turntable there was surface noise (crackling & popping), but ONLY 1-2 QUICK SKIPS on the 1st track 'Static Age.' I took video of the record starting to play that song to show potential buyers. I found no other skips on the entire record on my player.
I have been told by a local record store that I can get the warp mitigated and/or removed with their flattening machine or possibly even by using a good record clamp. However, I decided to leave that up to the new owner instead of messing with the vinyl more. The surface pops & crackles are throughout the record (most noticeable in the lead ins & outs and between songs. You can hear them during the songs as well, but I wouldn't say they overwhelm the music. But they are there and noticeable. THIS RECORD SHOULD NOT BE BOUGHT FOR IT'S LISTENING QUALITY/PLAYABILITY.
The sleeve has splitting on the side spine ONLY in the middle 2-3 inches, but not where the spine wording is. There is additional edge wear, ring wear, creasing & surface blemishes. But it still looks pretty damn good, with all graphics & wording intact and with colors vibrant. "Colored Vinyl" sticker intact.
****Final photo shows the very SLIGHT PINK STREAKING from the RED to WHITE vinyl change when pressing!!!****
I am just trying to be Conservative in grading & describing the record because I collect records (including some Misfits) and want it to go to a happy new owner. I am trying to supply thorough photos, details and will try to answer any questions. I am also trying to include the video of 'Static Age' playing and will, at least, email it to any serious potential buyers if I can't include it in this listing. Here's a chance to add one of the holy grails to your beloved Misfits collection.
THANKS FOR LOOKING, FIENDS!!!

On Apr-03-19 at 18:41:26 PDT, seller added the following information:To answer a few questions I've received, I can play the record through on my turntable with its warp & surface scratches with only 1-2 real quick skips on very beginning of first song of side A ("Static Age"). Basically, the lyrics "Static, Static, Static" the second time sung by Glenn in the first chorus skip after the first "Static" right to the next line "We're on a video rage." Other than that I didn't have any skips, just surface noise of pops & crackles. The music is much more pronounced than those, but they are there. I'm just giving this additional detail to say I wouldn't be buying this record to play regularly for its great sound quality. Duh. ;) IIt's more for the rareness & collectibility, though you can listen to the music on it in its entirety with minor playability issues, but not preferable sound quality. But, who are we kidding, I'm sure if you are reading this & interested in the record, you already own these songs on other vinyl copies along with numerous other sources. We Misfits fans/collectors can be a sick lot in that way! Ha.Hope that clarifies it for folks (fiends).I will also be posting some Misfits bootleg 7"s in an auction lot and possibly a few other official Misfits/Samhain/Danzig releases. Thanks!
