This rare four blade "Efesca Deflectair" 10" desk fan by "Webley & Scott" has a heavy black, japanned painted cast metal body and base.It has retained much of its' original finish, however, it does have the usual marks, scuffs and scratches that you would associate with an item of this age.The chromed metal cage has signs of surface rust as do the horizontal moveable baldes.There are no splits or cracks to the cast body, four chromed fan blades , moveable horizontal blades or cage, t...hat I can find.The top of body has an applied plaque with has the manufacturers details.The fan works well when switched on, the fan blades rotate at a good speed and the horizontal blades move from side to side altering the direction of the air.The fan has its' original wiring.It is sold as a "collectable item" and if being bought to use, I would recommend that it be checked and refurbished by a qualified electrician or engineer before use.The fan measures 36 cm (14 inches) to the top of the cage. Desk Fan. This rare four blade "Efesca Deflectair" 10" desk fan by "Webley & Scott" has a heavy black, japanned painted cast metal body and base.
