This Auction: Canon Speedlite 577G Set - Vintage Professional Flash - RARE. This set is complete, in great condition and working excellently. It includes the 577G Flash, "One Touch" (quick release) Mount Bracket G, Transistor Pack G with Battery Magazine, Sensor Unit G20, Wide Adapter 577G-24, and Transistor Pack G Case with Shoulder Strap. This was top-of-the-line in its day, and it still holds up to this status today. If you ever wanted this set, it is getting very difficult to find, especially in such good condition. I could not find another complete set available anywhere on eBay. (At the time of writing, there are a few far-from-complete sets, and one nearly-complete set. It's missing a critical part [the mount bracket] and they are asking double the cost.) Sure, there's a little dust and a few light scratches, but it's always been well cared for and works perfectly.
Update: I have located the Canon Sensor Unit G100. This is the long coiled wire, allowing you to move the flash out away from the camera up to 3 feet (1 meter) while still maintaining dedicated connection to the camera hotshoe. This originally optional item will be included in this sale.
Important: This is a vintage professional Canon flash. It was originally designed for cameras such as the Canon A-1, AE-1 Program and New F-1. Camera not included.
