On the 4thpage from the front, there is the following statement in very fine penmanship, which mentions the state of Ohio: “A list of Donations to the Seminary on AllumCreek established by the Board of Trustees of the Ohio Baptist EconomicalEducation Society.” There are twoentries about “going to Delaware, ” which does not refer to the state ofDelaware, but rather to the town of Delaware, which is... in the state ofOhio. Also there is a reference toMarion, which is in Marion County in Ohio. Google maps shows that Marion and Delaware are only 21 miles apart inthe state of Ohio. The ledger has 64pages.
