1864Selling here is a rare edition of 'Cookery for English Households....', published in London, 1864. Containing numerous French recipes for the 'class rich enough to have good dinners, and still which cannot afford to keep a Chef.'
8vo, bound in original publishers gilt ruled brown cloth, spine gilt lettered. Original black endpapers.The book measures 12.5cm by 18cm.The contents are complete, meeting collation: viii, 306, [6]pp, including halftitle with publishers device to verso and index, with two plates of a cooker and utensils.
