Here is a stunning and vintage Navajo Bisbee mid century turquoise and sterling silver squash blossom necklace from San Francisco estate. Circa 1950's. There are seventeen (17) brilliant turquoise stones, 130 silver beads, and ten (10) squash blossoms. It is truly exquisite! The silver beaded chain measures 26" long from end to end, and the "naja" measures 3" long, which totals 29" long total. The naja alone measures 3-1/4" wide and 3" long.&nb...sp; Each squash blossom measures about 1-3/4" long and 1 wide. Each silver bead measures 1/4" wide. This cool necklace weighs approx 6 oz according to my postage scale. Sorry I don't have a jewelry scale. And, this gorgeous necklace is made of sterling silver and turquoise. It was tested by the estate, so as far as we know, it is the real thing. The stones are stunning, and the silver work is exquisite. Each stone has a shadow box effect with rope border. There are no signatures or marks that we could find, but it is quality. The condition is amazingly very good - shows wear and tarnish, but no chips, breaks, or repairs that we know of. There is a line across one of the stones which feels and looks like a vein or mark in the stone. It is very smooth, and does not feel like a crack. The estimated value was $950.00 according to the estate. This fabulous squash blossom necklace came from an estate in San Francisco, and is vintage. It has a great look - very modernistic and unique.
