Original Description:
Here are  VINTAGE (probably 1958-1970)64 PUNCHED CARDSwith
A COMPLETE JOB

COMPUTER PUNCHED CARDS with special
CDC 3170 END OF JOB card and CDC 3170 EXECUTE card and2 FINIS cardsand aFORTRAN Program and COMPASS (CDC Macro Language) Subroutine

Job batches used to have some control cards at the beginning (here, the first card has the programmer's name- I have flipped/not pictured that card intentionally). Those commands are using JC...L (Job Control Language) commands. The second card in the pack actually invokes the FORTRAN compiler (using the $FTNU directive). After the first 2 cards, this is where the FORTRAN program starts- first the code followed by a separate section of data cards. Then come the FORTRAN code cards- each card punched with one line of code. First of those are comment cards, while comments can appear along the rest of the code.
In this UNIQUE case, we have the main Fortran code calling a COMPASS SUBROUTINE. This subroutine is defined in a separate section (after the first FINIS CARD and before the second FINIS CARD- both FINIS are blue). COMPASS is the CDC Macro Assembler for the CDC 6600 and CDC Cyber. At the end of the code comes the FINIS CARD and the EXECUTE CARD, followed by the data cards. At the very end of the data cards comes the END OF JOB (special, red) card. The programmer's name is printed on the first job card and also marked on the top edge of the batch (I did avoid listing a photo of his name just to retain some privacy and to avoid the shame in case that there are bugs in the code :)  That's why the first card in the pack is flipped on the first photo). The first card in this program has the print on the top a bit faded. Here , there are 4 special colored (2 blue FINIS CARDS, one green EXECUTE CARD and one END OF JOB CARD IN red) cards are marked with CDC 3170This program is written in  FORTRAN and COMPASS (CDC Macro Assembler)FORTRAN is a general purpose software language. You need to have a compiler to compile and run its code. FORTRAN was developed originally by IBM in the 1950's and is especially suited for scientific and numeric computations.I cannot even guarantee that the code is full (but I very much believe so)2 JCL + 29 FORTRAN Main Code cards + 26 SUBROUTINE cards which I believe are in COMPASS the CDC Macro Assembler language +  3 data cards  +  4 special CDC-3170 cards. The COMPASS code cards here (implementing the subroutine) are really rare!!!Any questions- please do not hesitate to ask.
