DESCRIPTION
FOR SALE:This is from a very large camera estate in western PA that has been sitting unused in storage for many years. Note: I am not a photographer, collector nor expert. I am selling estate items. I am not able to assess condition in any professional manner. This item is being sold AS IS and may need cleaning and restoration to be used. Sold for parts or restoration. PLEASE ask any questions important to your satisfaction BEF...ORE bidding.
ITEM: This is a pair of studio or portrait camera parts. They appear to be two backs that would hold the film plates. One measures about 12 1/2 inches square. THe insert for the opening is about 8 by 10. The back is attached with large balck springs to slide a plate in. The other measures about 11 1/2 inches square (and actually fits inside the back of the other - coincidentally?? It also has brass springs to allow a plate to slide in. THe opening is about 5 by 7. There are four small pegs sticking out on the edges. I don't see any markings except a stamp of 12 on the large and "7&8" on the small. Sold AS IS for parts or restoration.
