Old vintage cast aluminum oversize astronomy telescope finderscope bracket, large ID of 82mm, curvature of the base fits the rear cell of a 8" SCT nicely. We initially thought this was for the C14 but the base curvature is wrong. From the looks of this we think it was made by Celestron but it is unbranded. What appear to be the original factory holes are 45mm center to center and are threaded (?). Extra holes drilled in the base appear to be for common Celestron 8" SCT mounting at 32mm.... Some overall marks, see the photos. A bit of mystery bracket.
