Heathkit ID-4001 Weather Station Boom
We had a customer send us an ID-4001 about a year ago with the weather boom included. We just opened it and discovered that it appears that it has never been used. This is an original ID-4001 Weather Boom with the Original Wind Cups. Of coarse it will also work with our new replacement wind cups as well. It's possible that this boom has been up on the roof, but I'm certain it has not seen a full 4 seasons. The white... PVC is still glossy and bright, the mast mount has no trace of rust or corrosion. We went ahead and replaced the original IR LED's and Photo Transistors with our replacements as these are much more resistant to lightning.
This weather boom is fully functional and has no user modifications or added holes. No manual included.
