This listing is of a 3D printed Dark Grey SD card reader drive for Commodore C64/128. This sd2iec drive is created with the largest ATMega chip [Atmega1284p] that sd2iec type drives can use. It is therefor making it as future proof as it comes to future sd2iec firmware upgrades, e.g. for supporting more turbo loaders etc.. The case is 3d printed on a design I've made to make it as close as I could to the original 1541 Disk Drive only a lot smaller :) This version ha...s a removable power cable so you can attach a different power cable if you want to connect it to different Commodore 8-bit computer. Available cables are : 1) C64, 128/D, Vic20 Tape Port 2) C64, SX64, 128/D User Port 3) C16, C116, Plus/4 Tape Port In the price 1 cable of your choice is included. Please write a note when you buy what cable you want to be included.

It has 2 buttons on the front for disk image swapping and when you press that 2 buttons simultaneously it creates an autoswap file to use for games with more than one image. Also there are 2 leds that work as the original 1541-II leds, the green one is showing the activity of the drive and the red one shows attention/errors.The top cover slide back and reveals the 2 jumpers for selecting device number 8, 9, 10, 11. There is also a reset/back-to-root button on the back side to easily return to root directory of the SD card. The schematics are based on LarsP design and it is flashed with newboot v0.4.1 bootloader and latest [at the time of post] firmware, and firmware can be upgraded easy from SD card.Newer firmware can be dowloaded from original sd2iec firmware page at sd2iec de [atmega1284p, LarsP design] or larsp-128k
