Up for auction is one Decware Modified Tascam CD-200i Tube CD Player. This piece is phenomenal as it's actually two separate media players in one chassis... The aux in and iPod/iPhone dock are on one output while the Teac professional grade CD transport has it's own vacuum tube output stage. The tube output stage can accommodate any 12at7 or 12au7 vacuum tubes. Another awesome feature is the two stepped volume pots to control the output of the CD section... A purist's dream as this uni...t can drive an amplifier directly without the need of a preamplifier (tube output section only). This unit is 100% functional and comes complete with: Original box/packaging, owner's manual/paperwork, an RCA 12au7 tube, IEC power cable, rack mount hardware and remote control. Original cost from Decware for this unit was $1, 309.00. Please refer to the last picture that shows a faint scrape on the top of the chassis from component stacking... Nothing serious though.
