KODAK-NAGEL PUPILLE127 ROLL-FILM CAMERA WITH F2/4.5 CM XENON LENS AND REFLEX VIEWFINDERThe lens number datesthis camera to 1932, the year Kodak took over the Nagel camera works. Thisexample has both Kodak and Nagel names on the wind-on Knob, and a Kodaknameplate added to the shutter face. The basic camera is in fair to goodcondition. There is plenty of wear and chipping to the black enamel, as isvisible in the photos, but there are no dents or scratches. The leatherette iscomplete, but... has wear marks from the leather case on the rear. The uncoated SchneiderXenon f2/4.5 cm lens is clear and bright, with no apparent scratches orcleaning marks. The diaphragm opening is not quite circular, but no bladesappear to be loose. The shutter works well on all speeds except one-half and onesecond; these need finger pressure to complete the shutter cycle. The cameracame to me (1992) with a film inside; I have not tried to open and remove it.The rather rare reflexfinder attachment is in good condition with some minor chipping and crazing tothe black paint. It works, but is not a very practical accessory. The images oneach of its two ground glass screens indicate focus OK, but are very dull. The leather carry-casehas some torn stitching which does not look reparable. The two instructionmanuals are in poor condition but quite readable. Please examine the photos as they are partof the description.
