ORIC-1 48K in excellent, fully-working condition.
Although 36 years old, system still looks and plays like new so a fantastic retro computer to buy to relive the 'good old days' of the 1980s.
You could describe this retro-micro auction as "The French one" or "The Oceanic" or even the "Crystal-clear screen dream" as this Oric has got the lot; more later.
Comes complete with: EIGHTEEN software tapes - please see pictures to confirm games and adventures (some greats the...re including Defence Force, M.A.R.C., Hunchback, Island of Death and Mr Wimpy - 3 of the 4 tapes that software house Ocean released for the Oric); there's also a couple of "back-up" cassettes and rarities ie. good old Manic Miner (extra screens on the Oric), European Cup footie manager, plus original Oric PSU leads are also included in the auction.
There is also the French Oric-1 user manual (not easy to get hold of) plus NINE copies of various Oric fanzines and various leaflets/pamphlets which together contain lots of articles, hints, tips/advice, reviews etc etc. The new owner will have plenty of bedside reading material.
NB: TV shown demonstrating its working condition IS NOT included and neither are any: carpets, sofas, items of soft furnishings or floor laminates etc...Just the Oric-1 and its accessories.Notably, what is included is the best video lead commercially available - ie. an RGB>SCART lead from RetroComputershack, which gives a crystal-clear picture on both CRT and LCD screens.
