This watch has a rarely seen factory misprinted caseback. The caseback has a marked out 180.032 referen...ce and the 844/3 moniker was placed above the normal location. The dial on this example has been professionally refinished featuring a matte black dial and green tinted lume.

This example is ready to wear, issue free, and is water tight.
The case was fully disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, reassembled with all new gaskets and a sapphire crystal. Most examples on eBay or elsewhere have been sitting in a drawer for the past 20 years with issues which either can’t be cheaply or easily corrected.
•It has a new sapphire crystal. The original crystal was a mineral crystal (which is included) and they are all too commonly scratched. The sapphire is practically scratch proof and is quite a substantial upgrade. These sapphires are custom made and this is a feature found on most high end brands such as Omega, Tag Heuer, etc. •This watch features a screw down crown which has a new crown gasket.
•The bezel insert is original and in excellent condition for its age.
•ALL gaskets (crystal, caseback, and crown) have been replaced as well and it has been pressure tested. Ready for the pool! All replaced parts are included for your service records.
•The automatic movement in this watch is a new 25 jewel ETA 2824-2 automatic movement so a service shouldn’t be needed for at least 5 yrs.
•The bracelet is a new jubilee with solid links (not wrapped links). The pictured leather rally strap and a silicone Tropic style strap ARE NOT INCLUDED.
